Job DescriptionJob ResponsibilitiesIT Support Operations• Provide remote support to Virtusa employees in North America on IT services such as Office 365 suite, Teams, remote access.• Perform IT technical troubleshooting and provide solutions for end users for system hardware, system & application software.• Coordinate with the central IT support desk to adhere to applicable SLA and customer satisfaction initiatives• Collaborate with IT service line owners, IT staff and IT leadership to ensure timely service delivery.• Monitor, identify, and escalate issues within the IT team to prevent operational outages and customer escalations.• Support customer-specific environments as per customer requirements and guidelines on workstation systems.• Manage and administrate Apple iOS systems using platforms such as JAMF Pro. • Troubleshoot encryption tools such as Microsoft Bitlocker and File vault for Mac OS X.• Coordinate with the appropriate IT teams to manage internal user escalations.IT Onboarding and OffboardingManage new hire IT on-boarding and off-boarding process effectively for North stall, configure system and application software for new hires.Audits and Security ComplianceRepresent Internal audits and provide evidence, logs, and reports including preventive and corrective action plans.Coordinate with various endpoint security tool administrators to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve security compliance issues in end user endpoints.Continues ImprovementTest, evaluate new hardware technologies required for the business operations.Perform UAT on new releases of system and application software during organization-wide rollouts.Research new troubleshooting techniques that add value to the IT service delivery.IT Asset ManagementMaintain IT asset inventories with the use of ServiceNow.Repair and replace IT equipment as necessary.Decommission and disposal of IT equipment.IT Vendor Management: Coordinate and effectively manage vendors and service providers for new infrastructure.Liaise with IT vendors for IT preventive maintenance and warranty claim procedures.Qualifications• ssociate''s or bachelor''s degree in IT.• 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role.• Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications and basic knowledge of Microsoft AD, SCCM, AAD and Intune. • Determination to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.• nalytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.• Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.• bility to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
