General job duties. Types of procedures required. Dressing Changes, Vents, IV Starts, Tele 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) EPIC, Space Labs, Omnicell 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in MedSurg and Tele required. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) State of North Dakota or Compact Nursing License is required. BLS is required. 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 12 HR Shifts, Generally every 3rd weekend 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) N/A 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. MedSurg - 16 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) MedSurg: 1:4 9. Dress Code: Scurbs 10.
