That''s where data architects come in. A data architect visualizes, designs, and prepares data in a framework that data scientists, engineers, and analysts can use. Data architects often take data from disparate sources and develop a vision for combining those sources into a more cohesive, easier-to-use framework. A data architect must create an end-to-end vision for how a design might translate into physical databases and how to integrate disparate sources of data. Data architects work closely with users as well as developers to create plans.Data architects play a critical role in designing databases to organize data as well as allow authorized users to easily extract the information they need. They work closely with various departments in a company to troubleshoot technical issues, identify all sources of a company''s data, update the database regularly, and present data visually. In addition to coding skills, they also need advanced mathematical and statistical knowledge. Brightree is hiring an experienced technical product management leader with deep and hands-on data architecture experience, with keen analytical skills and an eye for detail. This role offers remote work flexibility.Let''s talk about ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap and vision for information delivery and management, including the enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data managementDemonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data managementApply business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short term and long term needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordinglyEngage an end-to-end approach by connecting all the pieces of data to deliver the data while leveraging all available assetsExperience with two or more vendors in any of the following areas including Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle 11g, MySQL, SQL Data Warehouse Appliance, Oracle Exadata, Netezza, Greenplum, Vertica, Teradata, Aster Data, SAP HANA, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, Sisense, R, Oracle Endeca, Oracle OBIEE, SAP Business Objects, SAS, and other Analytics Vendors with BI componentsDevelop and implement comprehensive enterprise data strategies, including data modeling, implementation, and data management for enterprise data warehouses, and advanced data analytics systemsEnsures the delivery of the product roadmap, defining and shaping team culture, as well as end to end program delivery ensuring solutions are delivered on time to market, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organisational mission. Regularly interacts with stakeholders and external facing customers to bring clarity of thought and implementation of various products.Backlog management & refinement for continuous value optimization.Requirement analysis and review to ensure readiness to be worked on by dev team.Product verification/validation for acceptance and quality assurance (verification of DoD)Converting product vision, customer feedback, acceptance criteria into an actionable work item for development team if required.Short and medium term-delivery planning to meet PI planning target in line with product vision & roadmap set by Product TeamCollaborate in demo and retrospective, work closely with System and Solution Architects/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the technological infrastructures.Let''s talk about Qualifications and ExperienceRequired:Experience working with structured and unstructured dataExperience consuming/exposing data in various ways, including APIs, BI Tools, SQLAbility to reverse engineer existing data flows and source-to-target mappingsIn-depth knowledge of a wide range of established and emerging data technologiesProven experience in implementationSolid understanding of data architecture and data modeling techniquesPassionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideasData driven; you lean on data to make decisions and when you don''t have data, you search for customer anecdotes to gain insightsStrong customer presenceSelf-aware and emotionally intelligent and compassionate leadership styleHealthcare eCommerce, Supply Chain, Consumer Retail industryBachelor''s degree.5+ years of experience as a product manager, and minimum of 6 years of overall related experience.Software Development experience and skills.User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) DesignScrum and Agile development methodologiesUser stories (creation and management)Product Development experienceProficiency with using applications and tools (JIRA/Confluence)You look beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems, has in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.You demonstrate versatility.Preferred:Strong and hands-on product owner experience with heavy understanding of user stories, storyboards, Agile and Sprinting processAbility to lead through influenceLI remoteLI-DGJoining us is more than saying ''yes'' to making the world a healthier place.
