This Cost Accountant Position Features:• Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Insurances• Company Paid Life Insurance• 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan• Pay up to $95K Immediate need for a Cost Accountant responsible for the preparation of costing for new products in liaison with R&D, purchasing and operations teams. The cost accountant will be responsible for creating BOM and routers. They will also have a heavy role in researching all types of inventory and manufacturing variances. This role will work with the movement and processing of inventory in the warehouse and on the floor and proactively improve current processes. This role will also have a key role in creating and running post launch reviews of product, as well as margin analysis from development, through post launch. They may assist with other activities including, but not limited to: Financial Reporting, Budgets, and Inventory Control. Identify areas of improvement and establish new or adjust existing inventory control procedures and practices.This position requires a Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance. This position requires a minimum of three (3) years general/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.• Experience in a food production facility preferred but not required• Must have manufacturing experience.• Advanced competency in Excel and Syspro software.• Strong business acumen, organizational skills and attention to detail.Apply for this great position as a Cost Accountant today!
