The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman''s Manufacturing Engineering team, where they will work on Infrared Countermeasures suite of products as a Test Engineer.Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Researches, designs, develops, tests and identifies improvements / corrective actions for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Infrared sensors and System Processors along with an assortment of test equipment and associated systems. Having experience in programming in C++, National Instruments Labwindows/CVI and/or Labview is a plus.* Troubleshoot production hardware to determine root cause of failures and identify corrective actions* Support production floor and test technicians* Optimize processes to reduce cost and increase throughput* Maintain process and procedures in accordance with ISO standards* Work with suppliers to resolve technical hardware issues* Create and analyze metrics to target cost improvements* Hardware integration and test* Test equipment development* Create engineering documentation (change notices, parts lists, bills of materials, test reports, test procedures)Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering technology with 9+ years of related experienceExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsProficient in MS officeAbility to obtain a Secret Clearance and US CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with Laser test equipmentExperience with data mining / correlation studiesNetworking and troubleshooting test stationsMANUMSSalary Range: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
