Position Summary: The Key Account Manager, will be responsible for delivering sales and standard profit goals to three Regal Business Units: Climate, Commercial and Industrial Systems businesses for two specific strategic distribution partners. This will be achieved by creating, leading and executing a strategy that aligns with the three business units strategy. Will interface with strategic distributor''s marketing, IT, product, sales and leadership teams to ensure Regal products are positioned for profitable growth. Will also work closely with other Regal functions including finance, IT, supply chain, operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure the strategy is properly executed while providing the strategic distributors the highest level of service possible. Major Responsibilities: Develop, lead and execute a sales strategy for two strategic national distributor partners that ensures attainment of each Business Units sales goals and standard profit. Communicate to various distributor leadership teams results of strategy, engagement, sales, etc. during regular Quarterly Business Reviews. Engage the distributors National Account team to develop a end user demand strategy. Engage the Commercial & Industrial sales agencies to support distribution strategy in the local markets. Measure results and adjust engagement/programs as needed. Monitor industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Utilize CRM for activity reporting. Manage CRM dashboards on a weekly basis to support communication processes and sales growth. Be highly instrumental in achieving and maintaining positive customer metrics. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets and ensure distribution growth. Maintain personal involvement in all large End User National and/or OEM accounts. Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of the strategy. Recommend programs in collaboration with distribution leadership that support strategic and tactical sales development plans. Work closely with sales managers, distribution partner principals to develop strong knowledge of markets and assure continuity of strong local relationships. Execute business 80/20 strategy by working closely with the three Regal Business Units product, marketing, pricing and Regional Sales Leaders. Adhere to all company policies, values, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Conduct yourself in accordance with corporate guidelines, policies and standards of professionalism and set examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. Required Education / Experience / Skills: BA/BS Degree Engineering degree an asset Knowledge of electrical motor and variable frequency products Minimum 5 years'' experience in Sales Management A proven track record or meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives Strong understanding of customer / market dynamics and requirements Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual plans through superior account management skills Enthusiasm, commitment, adaptability, and self-motivation with a drive for results Strong organizational and time management skills Communicate effectively at meetings, during presentations, and in written documents Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office365; Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong working knowledge of CRM tools Valid state driver''s license with a good driving record and credit history Travel: Willingness to travel in U.S.A. 25%-50% of the time Valid Passport - ability to travel to Mexico and Canada to either Regal or Distributor facilities Language: Strong verbal and written English language skills, bilingual in Spanish is an asset
