IT Systems Analyst

Amptek is searching for an IT Systems Analyst to design, improve and support the implementation of functional solutions of various IT systems within the company. The IT Systems Analyst will report to the IT Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Uses best practices to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the business'' IT assets, infrastructure, applications, and data.* Identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement with respect to company IT solutions and practices.* Defines specifications to fill gaps in company functionality or data.* Leads the development of correct, effective, and documented business processes, providing end user training materials for IT solutions and changes.* Leads the development of test plans and is the guarantor of their success during the implementation cycle of projects.* Provides day-to-day IT operational support for the Bedford, MA production site, including* Administering, maintaining, and supporting IT all user devices, including PCs, phones and mobile devices, and IT infrastructure including servers and network components.* Continuously improving workflows, collaborations, knowledge sharing and communications.* Ensuring compliance with applicable cybersecurity requirements.* Adhere to all AMETEK IT standards.* Operates as a cross-functional team player within the business and with IT staff across other AMETEK businesses.* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.* Well organized with an attention to detail.* Self-starter, able to work proficiently with minimal supervision.* Responsible for IT SOX compliance including ERP user access and change management.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* Training Bac +5 (Engineer or Master 2) Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration and Management* 3-5 years of minimum professional experience in the implementation and support of information systems and data integration* Experience with Microsoft Windows system administration and end user support* Business analysis experience with Business Central (Navision) and/or other ERP systems or ERP migrations strongly preferred* CRM, CAD, PDM/PLM support preferred* Data management tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, SSIS, Access) as well as support in an Office 365 environment including SharePoint* Experience with project management methodologies and approachesAMETEK is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annual sales of approximately $5.5 billion.Publicly traded on the NYSE since 1930 and a component of the S&P 500, AMETEK has over 18,500 colleagues at more than 150 operating locations in 30 countries around the world.
