Medical Manufacturing Assembler

Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions is currently hiring an Assembly Technician for a medical technology company that manufactures small medical devices in Exton, PA. Position: Manufacturing Assembler Location: Exton, PA 19341 Payrate: 19.00 - 22.00/hour Days: Monday-Friday Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm POSITION SUMMARY: This position will assist with the manufacturing of implantable medical devices intended for clinical vascular use. Assembly Technicians will perform all tasks of the assembly process in a cleanroom. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assemble small medical devices in accordance with procedures in a clean room environment. Assemble parts using tools such as tweezers, microscopes, and small fixtures. Clean the cleanroom, equipment, and maintain clean work areas in accordance with cGMP requirements. Ensure product meets specified requirements. Actively participate with line clearance and set up activities. Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges. Lot release testing of clinical devices. Quality control testing of incoming components. Assist with fabrication of prototypes and design improvements. Participate in device assembly in accordance with procedures of clean room. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma/GED preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing or relevant work experience. Previous experience in Medical Device Industry/Cleanroom is PREFERRED but not required. Previous experience in ISO/GMP and FDA regulated environment is PREFERRED but not required. Able to work in a high"performing team environment with changing priorities. Ability to multi"task and accommodate changes within compressed timelines. Ability to work Overtime when required to meet business needs. SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Exceptional hand eye coordination skills required to perform tasks on small items. Ability to stand, sit, walk for the duration of the work shift. Requires fine and gross motor skills of both hands and fingers to perform assembly tasks. Required to lift up to 10 pounds during shift, occasionally from floor to waist, and waist to shoulder level. Required to carry up to 10 pounds up to 30 feet occasionally during the shift. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Manufacturing Assembler position requires following GMPs. Jewelry, cosmetics/makeup, or artificial nails are not permitted to be worn in this position. Employees can dress comfortably, sneakers are okay. Position is working inside a cleanroom and requires wearing cleanroom PPE which includes a cleanroom suit, hairnet, beard net (if applicable), safety glasses, facemask, gloves, and shoe covers.
