As an Oracle Database Architect, you will be the agile software development expert, focusing on building, supporting, tuning and monitoring the development and production of databases. Demonstrates the ability to drive agile development and implement automated processes to improve database system reliability. Provides high level of collaboration, customer service and quality solutions to internal Regal business stakeholders. Systems Administration Leads application database administration (Oracle) services including SQL code review, performance analysis, query running, database application design, physical data modeling, development support & Engineering. Supports the adoption of strategic platforms for Oracle database - on-premise and Cloud Infrastructure Drives system stability initiatives by proactively reviewing and addressing Database performance and capacity trends Leads operational database support to troubleshoot issue resolution / root cause analysis Actively leads the creation of standards, processes and documentation for various database activities, including architecture, user access, user termination, DB creation, DB migration, DB security, etc. Demonstrates the use of 80/20, continuous improvement to deliver results aligned with the functions'' strategies, including KPIs, with a sense of urgency. are you the one? Our future Architect will have a track record of metric driven achievements. Bachelor''s degree required in Computer Science or related field 7 years of hands-on experience as Oracle DBA 5 years of hands-on experience with data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery options, configuration and execution Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic. Proven ability to be hands on, demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal''s 80/20 principles. Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one''s direct responsibility.
