Location: 100% Remote - US-WideWe give you a world of potentialComputershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Solutions Architect to join our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) team. This role is 100% remote US-Wide or hybrid if you live closely to our Greenwood Village, CO or Canton, MA offices.A role you will loveAs a Solutions Architect focusing on systems management and automation, you will get the opportunity to work on newer technologies and set those standards up - you will truly get to build out a legacy! Your team prides themselves on their ability to form together and do things both better and smarter. You will also get to do work at a global scale and collaborate across this role, you will be responsible for gathering technical requirements, producing technical designs, and assisting with the implementation of services and applications leveraging datacentre technologies and services to meet business needs and objectives. You will contribute to the strategic service planning and solution design efforts to support technology governance processes for server, storage, and other datacentre technologies in both the private and public clouds. You will also: Design technical solutions that will deliver the desired effect and match the infrastructure service to the business activities, processes, people, and physical environment, incorporating the latest thinking from vendors and competitors into product stacks. Create and manage relationships with Enterprise Architects, management, other technology staff and business management. Lead, manage and develop strategic relationships, service, quality, and costs with services vendors in collaboration with the Global Vendor Management team. Develop / improve regional standards, frameworks & models to support service excellence and ensure adherence to global strategy Using forecast data to assess demand management such as service resource vs. the needs of the Project / Change community whilst ensuring escalations are kept to a minimum and work is re-prioritised / challenged accordingly In partnership with Service Delivery and Management CoE develop improvement initiatives to address systemic quality issues Act as a focal point for resolution of escalated global service & performance issues (tier 4) Ensure delivery against operational control measures and address via Service Improvement Plans where a shortfall has been identified, working in collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders, within the wider group and other selected vendors where themes / trends occur. Lead, manage and develop strategic relationships, service, quality, and costs with services vendors in collaboration with the Global Vendor Management team Mentor employees within the technology group(s), offering guidance and sharing technical knowledge Exercise your knowledge and understanding to be able to design business solutions using relevant technology What will you bring to the role? You excel at collaboration and have an incredible ability to communicate with people across multiple areas of the business. You have experience managing complex activities simultaneously to short timescales and can demonstrate continuous improvement.You also have: 5+ years of experience in Engineering, IT, or a related field Experience in supporting and administering large scale, enterprise level software systems Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations Service and delivery capability paired with the focus and ability to influence and gain trust at all business and technology management levels Experience in system implementation and configuration and task sequencing Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring Understanding of global environments and complexity of technology services Experience in event correlation and AI/ML event identification and remediation Ability to complete application performance monitoring with tools such as EGinnovations, Dynatrace, AppInternals, AppDynamics Experience with SolarWinds infrastructure monitoring Experience completing log aggregation with tools such as Plunk, Sumo Logic Ability to execute architecting and designing solutions on industry leading platforms Proven experience leading IT transformation Projects Experience with: Microsoft Windows Server Operating Environment, Active Directory and Microsoft based applications Microsoft SCCM, SCOM Citrix VDI and Application Delivery PowerShell, VB Script, Batch Scripting and other related scripting and development languages Bonus points if you have: Bachelor''s Degree in computer science, IT, or related field Experience with Morpheus Data flows and provisioning Proven record of accomplishment working in a support environment and the ability to interact between business representatives and Senior IT staff to plan for and resolve complex technology-based problems Experience within the Regulated Financial services sector Experience with virtualized/Hybrid Cloud environments Basic understanding of network topologies and SAN technologies Knowledge of network security and best practices including but not limited to Firewalls, routing and switching, Wireless technology, VPN, NAC, LANs, and WANs A working knowledge of virtualization platforms and hypervisors A sound understanding of cloud computing concepts and design Well-versed in IT security process and procedures Familiarity with Python, PERL, and Java Experience with Rubrik Backups Technical IT training and certification(s) appropriate to architect role such as: ITIL Foundations Security+ TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) VCP (VMware Certified Professional) CISSP (ISC2 Computer Information Systems Security Professional) PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) A company to be proud ofComputershare (ASX:CPU) is a world leader in financial administration with over 14,000 employees across 21 different countries delivering expertise to over 44,000 clients.
