Interior Designer

Sales Associate / Interior Design Full- and Part-Time Positions Available Job Brief We are a highly sought-after luxury interior design service and brick-and-mortar furniture showroom with nearly 300,000 on-line followers. We are looking for a results-driven retail Sales Associate and Interior Designer. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales goals and keep the showroom enticing and organized. Candidates will be the most fruitful if they have a solid background in furniture sales, interior design, and retail store procedures and operations. Responsibilities • Propose and implement innovative ideas and strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic, and promote products, resulting in meeting sales goals • Maintain outstanding store condition, visual merchandising standards, and store cleanliness • Fulfill website orders • Place orders for products sold and schedule deliveries from suppliers to customers; interface with delivery staff • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans, and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service • Deal with all issues that arise from customers (complaints, grievances, etc.) • Complete store administration and comply with policies and procedures • Report on buying trends, customer needs, etc. • Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance • Additional store duties as needed Requirements and skills • Minimum two years'' successful experience in furniture sales and retail store operations; interior design experience a plus • Customer management skills • High-integrity work ethic • Strong organizational skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Most successful candidate will have completed some college classes.
