Position Junior - Senior IT Support Technician (IT Infra - Cloud/Server/Network/PC) Location Torrance, CA or Client site in LA area (or other states in the U.S.)Job Type Full-time/Permanent with full benefitSalary DOE (45K - 90K)Work hours 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday) * Business trip, overtime, weekend/holiday work will be required as needed.Start Date ASAPJob DescriptionIT Support Technician to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure (Hybrid Cloud or On-premises) for customers mainly in the Americas and Asia regions as a part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier1 to Tier 3 level support (depends on work experience)Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructureProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availabilityMaintain security, backup, and redundancy strategiesWrite and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasksParticipate in the design of information and operational support systemsLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution RequirementsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professionalpublications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsAccomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed[Server/PC/Application]Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management toolsMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possiblesolutions, and work with developers to implement those fixesInstalling, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft/VMWare based environments, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., VMware, Veeam, VDI, WVD) and monitoring systems (PRTG, etc.)Endpoint solutions such as Symantec, Trendmicro, CrowdStrikeCloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure, M365, AWS, Cisco Umbrella, Proofpoint[Networking]Scripting, networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)Establishes and maintains network performance by building network configurations andconnections, troubleshooting network problems for managed customers onsite/remotely.Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, directing systemInstallation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standardsMaximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimizationSecures network system by establishing and enforcing policies defining and monitoringaccessReporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, managing projectsSkills / QualificationsNetworkingFirewall, Switch, Wireless Access Point, VPNCisco Meraki, Fortigate, JuniperCCNA is preferredServers/Virtualization/CloudMicrosoft/Virtualization certification is preferredWindows/Azure/AWS servers and Windows PCs/WVD/AVDVMWare, Veeam, Symantec, TrendMicro, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, ProofpointBusiness-level English communication skills are requiredBusiness-level Japanese communication skills are preferredAt least 1-2 years as Network/Server Engineer experienceA willingness to take responsibility and upward mobility in the execution of work for clients, with growth potential.Team-player and good communication (Report, Note, Discuss)Detail-oriented, with a commitment to preventing omissions. - provided by Dice
