IT Project Manager (Hybrid Role)

Job Title: IT Project ManagerDepartment: ITReports to: Director of IT (Information Technology)Direct Reports: NoneThe IT Project Manager directs and coordinates strategic technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the committed time frame and budget. The role is primarily responsible for managing the IT aspects of multiple Greenfield automation and non-automation projects at a time, developing full scale project plans, IT budgets, IT equipment procurement and deployment, as well as provide direction and support to the overall project teams. The IT PM will help to advance the state of project management within Lineage Logistics IT including standard processes and a consistent delivery methodology. The Project Manager will oversee diverse projects including system integrations, IT infrastructure, digital transformation, and service delivery optimization. The Project Manager will be involved with multiple projects at a time, developing full-scale project plans, as well as provide direction and support to the project teams.The role involves the coordination of technical resources across multiple teams, including external vendors working concurrently on multiple, projects. (e.g., construction team and subs, electrical team and subs, IT vendors, etc.), the Automation teams, the corporate - Lineage PMO (Project Management Office), working concurrently on multiple projects. The role also ensures overall project alignment, including communication both inside and outside the team, dependency identification and resolution, and proper priority and order for work. This is one of the most critical roles in that journey, and it will require someone who has a true passion for technology and project management.Primary Responsibilities: Partners with project sponsors, project teams and other project managers to help evaluate technical and business requirements and to develop and implement approaches and solution alternativesIntegrates inputs and schedules from multiple sources to create a cohesive plan with an identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parametersAdapts project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects, to respond to emerging requirements and risksCommunicates overall project status including milestones, adherence to project deadlines, and relevant risks to teams, stakeholders, and managementDevelops project charter/scope document and manages the programs or projects and their life cycles through the creation, collection, and maintenance of project documentation, and in accordance with standards established by the Program Management Office (PMO)Identifies and estimates project scope and deliverablesHolds team members accountable, sets clear performance standards, resolves performance issues, and keeps technical teams engaged and on taskDevelop and manage IT Budgets for each projectSuccessfully manage all IT vendors and internal resources throughout the project that help design, build, and deploy the IT infrastructure to a Greenfield facility. This includes network equipment, server room (MDF), IDF''s, low voltage cabling, (e.g. data drops, security cameras, access controls), 'rack and stack'' (MDF) and IDF equipment installation and turn-up, SD-WAN, internet circuits, VoIP/telephony, overhead paging, lui of project risk management, ensures detail plans are created for any necessary implementation roll-backs from both an infrastructure and applications perspective.Education and Work Experience:University degree in Information Technology, or business administration and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 - 7 years of experience as project manager with IT Infrastructure projectsExceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationHands-on experience with a variety of project delivery methodologiesExperience working in a matrixed global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and servicesStrong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policiesPMI or PMP certification is a strong plusRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Utilize knowledge of project management best practices and methodologiesDeliver on commitments (high quality, on budget, on time) while working on multiple projects fortable relating openly, honestly, and consistently with diverse groups of peopleAct decisively for improvement in both projects and in the organization including addressing urgent, time sensitive, or crisis issuesUse leadership skills to align project and department goals with the organization''s and sponsor''s goalsLead a project team, create and maintain group cohesiveness, interact with internal and external customers, and manage vendor relationshipsWork in a fast-paced, agile environmentPossess a willingness and ability to work non-standard hours to support delivery of time-critical project deadlinesProperly set priority and order for workAsk for help and provide it to othersLearn and apply innovative technologies and business conceptsUnderstand your skills and your talents and apply them appropriatelyTravel as required.LLPRWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
