This position will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall medical needs of the people served on their caseload. This position will ensure the organization is in compliance with Title XIX standards, Waivered Survey Standards and CQL standards and other standards that govern our organization. This position will also work in concert with site managers, QDDP''s, Supervisors and Directors and other staff which includes members of the Quality Assurance Department. Duties may include gathering data and metrics for the organization and also recognize and respond to trends and patterns.We offer the following benefits to support you and your family:Free Premium Membership to our to help employees with child care, pet care, senior caregivers, housekeepers & more.Health/Dental/Vision InsuranceFlexible spending accountsVoluntary Protection: Group Accident, Critical Illness, and Identity TheftAdoption AssistanceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your familyPaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Assistance for career growth and developmentMatching 401(k) and 457(b) Retirement ProgramsIf you are ready to join a national leader in providing quality services to people with disabilities, join CHI Friendship today!ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all medical appointments for assigned caseload which may include general health, dental, psychiatric, vision, OT/PT, etc.Maintains appropriate documentation in medical records.Ensures appropriate medications and MARs are current and up to date at each site.Ensures people supported participate in directing health needs for themselves.Works in concert with managers, administrators and QDDPs to ensure education is relevant to the pletes follow up on all incident management forms related to medical incidences.Ensures basic assurances, quality assurance and quality enhancements are carried out throughout the organization.Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and is ready and competent to provide medical expertise for each person on their caseload.Facilitates communication with medical professionals, pharmacies and other relevant medical resources.Assists people to advocate on behalf of themselves which include making their doctor appointments, choosing their own doctors and being involved in their own self-medication administration.Ensures responsiveness with all incident management matters for each person on their caseload (i.e., bruise of unknown, med errors, etc.).QualificationsGraduate of state-approved school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Dakota with unencumbered license.Minimum of one year experience as an RN in a nursing home, hospital or developmental disability provider setting.Current valid driver''s license.Ability to update and maintain records according to organizations standards.
