CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE

Senior Helpers is seeking Certified Home Health Aides to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, motivated individual with experience in providing in-home care and/or care in facilities for seniors. Benefits Full and part time hours Cases available 7 days a week All shifts available Mileage reimbursement Employee Referral Bonus direct deposit health plan 401K employee perks(online) and much more Responsibilities: Assist with personal care and daily living activities, including: personal hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility, meal preparation, activities that the client may enjoy ie playing cards/games, going on outings or taking walks and running errands. Performs patient-specific duties, including: taking vital signs, assisting with exercise/ROM, and/or assisting with blood sugar record keeping Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): light housekeeping vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linen, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom and/or other areas of the house that the client may use. Qualifications Must be CHHA(Certified by the NJ Board of Nursing) and/or CNA(NJ Board of Health) Must be 18 years of age or older. Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare Current CPR Certificate is a plus. Have access to adequate transportation for the job. This position may require additional hours of technical training (at no cost to employee) Must have current PPD or chest x-ray Two employment references
