Our world class talent creates a warm and friendly culture through shared values.This position is responsible for supporting the complete tax cycle of Cinemark. This individual will work under the direction of our Senior Tax Director and will be responsible for federal and state tax return compliance. This position will also be responsible for quarterly and annual domestic and foreign tax provisions.A Day in the Life of a Senior Tax Analyst:Prepare Company''s income tax returns, including the consolidated federal returns, US reporting of Latin American foreign operations, partnerships, and state income tax returns, which encompass Cinemark''s U.S. filing obligations in 42 states and numerous localities.Assist with preparation of tax provision workpapers in connection with quarterly and annual financial reporting (ASC 740).Prepare and/or review quarterly estimated state income tax payments.Assist in analysis and documentation for various federal income tax audits and state income audits.Perform income tax research related to various transactions.What You will Need to Have2-3 years of corporate tax experience including federal and state income tax compliance and ASC 740.Bachelor''s degree in accounting or finance.CPA preferred.At this level, one must possess the following skills:Advanced proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel.Proficient with OneSource Income Tax.Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.Ability to team effectively with members of the accounting, finance and tax departments.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously through to successful completion.Firm understanding of financial accounting practices.DISCLAIMER: This job description is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
