Come join us and help shape the future!This OpportunityBe involved in projects with our Texas District Project Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client''s objectives and solves their challenges.WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Civil Project Manager for our Dallas or San Antonio office.Your ImpactProvide leadership, oversight, mentoring and overall management of projects within the Houston office and across TexasLead transportation project business development efforts and participate in proposal presentation and business development activitiesStrategize development of new business with new and existing clientsAttract new clients, ensure customer satisfaction and build strong market relationshipsRepresent the firm''s interests in the various levels of local government and civic based organizationsPrepare and review cost proposalsProvide local focused, direction and leadership to the Client while partnering closely with the local technical groups and area managementPlan, schedule, coordinate staffing levels needed for projects, and coordinate work-sharing opportunities with other officesManage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability of assigned projects, overseeing preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.Prepare, manage and review project deliverables including planning, design and construction documents, project reports, environmental studies, cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals, ensuring quality requirements, professional standards, client requirements and corporate objectives are metProvide coordination with other design disciplines and remote office locations, including: Planning, Environmental, Roadway, Structures, Hydraulics/Drainage, Transit, Aviation and TrafficCollaborate with management to determine long-range plans and objectives, including recommendations on project staffing, evaluating and mentoring of subordinate staffDemonstrate creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment, and successfully managing multiple projects and task assignments, relying upon demonstrated experience in design quality control programsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and plete ad hoc projects as needs ariseTalent is the essence of meeting our client''s objectives, goals and challenges. If this sounds like a fit for you, we''d love to have that first discussion of you joining our team.Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.12+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering, transportation and infrastructure design with at least 5 years leading, managing and mentoring teams of civil engineers and technicians on large transportation design projects (highway, roadway, drainage and traffic).Demonstrated experience with State and local governments, contractors, transportation agencies and professional organizations.Strong history and experience with TxDOT projects and programs is a must.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.Preferred QualificationsMasters Degree in Engineering.LI-MC1Additional RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
