Energize your career with Constellation.PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONResponsible for oversight and implementation the station ALARA program including: On-Line and Outage ALARA Planning, shielding evaluations, ALARA procedure and process development, review of the metrics associated with monitoring an ALARA program, Development of site outage reports, Work in Progress reviews. This position has the capabilities of applying leadership and strategic focus to all facets of the ALARA program including performing and presenting business cases for program / site needed in CRE reduction. This position requires travel to various Exelon stations during both on-line and outage periods.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPreparing and implementing ALARA planning, estimating, work group involvement and procedure implementation in accordance with Exelon procedure guidance for exposure reduction. (25%)Performance of assessments, corrective actions, benchmarking, and job evaluations with regards to ALARA processes and practices. Implement fleet and industry best practices. (25%)Perform independent, specific rolls such as on-line and outage planning, fleet SME for key ALARA planning areas e.g. Refuel Floor, DCS, etc, work-in-progress reviews, shielding packages, and outage reports (20%)Mentor and aid in the development of other RP personnel and site personnel to ensure that industry knowledge and Radiation Protection standards are transferred and embraced.
