Coordinates training services through consistent direct contact with industry clients. Serves as the college''s liaison with regional colleges on programming related to the Customized Training Program and student connections to industry employment in A-B Tech''s service area. Travels regionally as required. Directs clients in following training project plans and scheduling planned training events. Facilitates and ensures training activity in Customized Training Program projects. Works with other A-B Tech EWD staff to coordinate training schedules, lab spaces, and equipment use. Assists with coordinating the schedules of instructors, 3rd party instructors, and adjuncts.Duties* Serves as a point of contact for select Customized Training Program industry clients. Meets regularly with assigned clients to ensure consistent alignment on planned training activities.* Serves as the college''s liaison with regional colleges on programming related to the Customized Training Program and student connections to industry employment in A-B Tech''s service area. Travels regionally as required.* Interfaces daily with Customized Training Program project industry leadership teams.* Directs clients in following training project plans and scheduling planned training events. Facilitates and ensures training activity in Customized Training Program projects.* Assists with securing and scheduling instructors, assists with contract negotiations and setup, and initiates setup of class documentation.* Creates training requests, funding requests, and assist with managing select Customized Training Program project budgets.* Registers training classes for assigned clients and verifies accurate completion of class paperwork.* Works closely with the Business Office and EWD staff related Customized Training project financials.* Updates and manages project and training services records.* Adheres to state guidelines on Customized Training Program projects.* Assists with year-end reporting.* Builds and maintains client relationships. Schedules and facilitates project status meetings.* Attends offsite meetings and events as required.* Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.1.* Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.* Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)* Bachelor''s degree;* Three years of full-time or equivalent experience working in a public-facing position and interacting with diverse populations;* One year of full-time or equivalent experience coordinating activities within or management of a facility such as an office, school, or business setting;* Experience in either training, coaching, mentoring, or counseling others in a manufacturing, office, business, or education setting;* Experience dealing with financial transactions such as payables/receivables, material procurement, and budget management;* Project management experience in either a manufacturing, office, business, or higher education setting;Preferred Qualifications* Experience setting up and coordinating training or education programs;* Experience with an electronic procurement/supplier exchange system for the purchase of supplies and services;* Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language;Special Instructions to ApplicantsApplicant Should:1.
