Snr Systems Engineer I

JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Snr. Systems Engineer you will be part of the system and control engineering team, participating in the design, testing and validation of platform control schemes.Job Description:* Familiarity with electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems* Capable of working with an electrical engineer in architecting and implementing industrial control systems* Capable of designing reliable electromechanical systems* Solid modeling skills (Creo is preferred) would be useful* Specify, operate, and evaluate 300mm wafer transfer robots (atmospheric and vacuum)* Interface with suppliers to understand how their products work, what their limitations are, and how to successfully integrate them into our platforms* Specify and program industrial PLC''s, and help design robust interlocks that will protect personnel, equipment, and the customers'' products* Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management about the status and progress of projects* Interact with internal organizations such as Product Support, Product Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain* Perform tests and analyze logfiles and/or sensor data (from accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure gauges, linear displacement) to assess system performance* Proficient in analytical or scripting software such as Matlab, Python, JMP, Excel, and/or MathCadRequirements:* Master degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)* 10+ years of related experience* Experience or education in the systems engineering working with electrical systems, vaccum or pneumatics<
