This is an engaging and challenging opportunity that plays an intricate role in shaping the development of our upcoming August and Yale products. We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst who wants to live on the edge of technologies that bring software and hardware together, within the connected home.This position will report directly to the Lead IT Business Analyst. The successful IT Business Analyst will have strong experience in ERP/MRP systems to support our efforts in building world-class mobile solutions for our direct-to-consumer products, as well as our business partners. You will be ensuring that business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. The team''s goal is to ensure operations continue to produce without interruption.WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE* Support Enterprise Resource Planning Systems on a daily basis* Drive the creation of process models (primarily conceptual/logical level models, often using business process analysis tools) and work with others to provide the supporting process ecosystem and implementations. This includes screen interactions, dashboards, rule management, and optimization algorithms* Assist with managing system-integrated applications* Define and document business functions and processes* Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes* Manage all tickets for Smart Residential Business Units via Portal and email ingestion* Reset Passwords for Smart Residential Business Units* Troubleshoot Hardware and Operating System Basics - Laptops, Desktops, etc* Troubleshoot basic connectivity for Network and Wi-Fi* Identify outages for SiteRegion as a result of active queue monitoringWHAT BRINGS SUCCESS TO THIS ROLE* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Strong presentation, spreadsheet, flowcharting, and word processing applications skills* Strong Time management and organizational skillsREQUIREMENTS* At least 2 years of experience using an ERP/MRP system such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, etc* Bachelor''s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience* 3+ years of experience performing business process analysis* 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts* Experience in supply chain environments* Experience in process innovation and business process redesign is preferableWHY IT''S AMAZING TO WORK AT SMART RES US* Working with an incredibly passionate and intelligent team* Building products and services that solve real-world problems* Opportunity to make an impact by owning projects from start to finish* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits* A generous PTO policy to recharge and reset* Matching 401K contributions* Life insurance* Tuition and certification reimbursement* COVID-19 supported WFH policies and efforts (flexible in-office policy upon return)August and Yale are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
