L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Production Planner /Production Controller to work in a manufacturing environment. Will perform duties including but not limited to:* Coordinate, manage, and own the Lot / batch formation of finished goods in preparation for customer acceptance and delivery.* Evaluate schedule and coordinate the availability and controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements* Colloborate with operations leadership and planning organization to provide detailed status of work in progress, material availability, and communicates constraints to schedule* Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program management.* Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas* Develop ship lists and documents to support official acceptance inspections.* Monitor the velocity of the disposition of MRB and stranded material or stranded WIP.* Prepare reports and note shortages/damage* Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts* Knowledge of backflush process.* Work with Production and Materials teams to resolve part discrepancies* May be required to interface with departments throughout the company* Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, good decision making skills, and the ability to think outside the boxEssential Functions:* Experience with ERP systems* Ability to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities and management and customer decisions* Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)* Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills* Strong math and analytical skills to solve problems* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailQualifications:* Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience* Must be a US CitizenPreferred Additional Skills:* 3 years of experience related to Inventory Management, OR Material Handling, OR Store Supply in a manufacturing company* Experience using small hand tools, manual and automated* Experience using color coded or numeric information* Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirement
