CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver - Avg. $1,380/week

Competitive pay: Average $1,380 per week/$70,380 per year Starting pay is .59 cpm Reach top-out pay of .60 cpm within 30 days Average 2,350 miles per week Breakdown and layover pay available Company sponsored per diem program Loads are Monday-Friday with 90% back home the same day No loading/unloading; no tarping is involved; NO TOUCH FREIGHT Pulling 53'' swing door trailers Hauling sheets of glass either on an A-frame rack or strapped to a pallet Hook to preloaded trailer and start your week Average 5-8 loads per week Only 1 stop per load Primarily the same runs/ customers each week Coverage area: GA, KY, NC,SC, VA, WV From the ground, the driver will look into the trailer to verifythat the freight is secure, to the best of their ability These are prescheduled deliveries Delivering to manufacturing companies Once empty, return to DC in Richburg empty or with empty racks (half the time); no backhauls Could return with empty racks which would require you to secure it Securement straps and personal protection gear provided CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Most benefits are effective after 30 days Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $88.90/week for family plans and $34.15/week for individual plans Rider policy available for legally married spouses Profit Sharing plan allows you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt''s fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs. Must live within a 150-mile radius Must have 6 months'' verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years Flatbed, Curtainside or Conestoga experience a plus Must be 21 years of age or older Must have Class A CDL No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality) No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years Essential functions: Lift and move side kits -lift requirements: 46 lbs Secure load with straps and hardware - lift requirements: 80 lbs Climb onto and off of the flatbed trailer/load Count freight Complete fuel tickets Complete delivery receipt Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs Perform pre-trip inspections Drive Extensive travel - ability to sit upright for extended periods of time.
