Hi Role: Hardware Designer 3Location: Fremont CADuration: Full Time Job Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:Originate and design mechanical parts and subassemblies and create layouts to support product design and technology developmentWork on continuous improvement projects to enhance performance while reducing costParticipate in cross-functional teams with product engineering, program management, manufacturing, field service, and supply chain to define specifications and complete the full design cycleCreate production drawings, develop precise CAD assemblies, and conduct design reviews in support of design effortsQUALIFICATIONS:Associate or Bachelor''s Degree in engineering or equivalent with 15 years of direct experienceProven competency developing complex electromechanical systems, packaging, fixtures, and toolingIn-depth understanding and hands-on experience with metal machining and Sheetmetal fabrication; familiarity with other alternative fabrication techniques such as casting and additive manufacturing and design experience with ceramics are plusesStrong understanding of various material properties and their coatings and finishesThorough understanding of GD&T and drafting best practices; experience with model-based-definition design (MBD) and model-based-enterprise (MBE) is a plusExpert-level CAD user; competency with Siemens NX, experience with CAD user groups, and participation in defining CAD best known practices are plusesKeen understanding of and experience with large assembly management methodologiesPrior experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; uncompromising attention to detailThanks & Regards,RAJESH H.
