Senior Product Engineer

Position Title: Senior Product EngineerJob Description:Senior Product Engineer for Automotive Finance Corporation (AFC is a business unit of KAR Global) in Carmel, IN. Responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing and delivery for solutions and products in the automotive remarketing industry using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); develop Modern Microservices and APIs in AWS Cloud; Develop AWS Cloud Elastic Beanstalk App using Java Spring framework to integrate with on-prem application and make changes to on-prem infrastructure to post the data updates; develop AWS Lambda functions using NodeJS to house the business functions; create modern UIs with Angular; create SonarQube integration for code quality checks which can be reported from Azure DevOps; create build and release pipeline for deployment of serverless components; create Gradle wrapper for build of the package developed; utilize REST APIs; create CI/CD for existing Applications to decompose the existing monolith and create Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline; create Git repositories for each of the existing of the customers Documentum build unit and convert the Ant scripts to make Gradle wrapper; create build pipelines to use on-prem build machines configured in Azure DevOps to execute remote builds; and create release pipelines and service connections to connect to on-prem infrastructure from the Cloud AWS to deploy the code and restart the application. May work remotely from anywhere in the US.Requirements:Requires a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in software development; or a Master''s in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in software development. Must possess at least three (3) years of experience with each of the following: Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Documentum, Angular, Cloud AWS, Git, Gradle, Ant, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), REST API Development, Azure DevOps (ADO).
