Description Description Job summaryCome join the Community Features team which is part of our Inspirational Shopping experience. Our goal is to make Amazon a destination for customers to keep up to date on all the authors, brands, influencers, etc. they care about. We are creating highly tailored experiences based off who a customer follows and their interests. We are strategically growing the Follow customer base over the next 2 years by creating new Community Features enabling customer''s to like, follow and comment on items. We are looking for a strong front end developer that will work on designing engaging front end experiences, executing the planning, and addressing operational improvements.Candidates needs to have a strong front end development background and demonstrated experience working on large scale projects. The candidate must be customer obsessed, like rapid experimentation, have strong problem solving and communication skills, enjoy working with native AWS services, and thrive on solving open-ended business problems. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with multiple teams ranging from product and design to development teams. Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the software architecture, implementation and testing of front end experiences. You will be working closely with Product and Design iteratively changing the experience and measuring the result. Candidates are also expected to participate in assisting Product and Design by contributing their technical expertise in front end design patterns.
