Amada Senior Care is seeking a highly organized, experienced Homecare professional, with a sense of urgency, and desire to make an impact on our Seniors and employees lives. Do you have experience scheduling 50 or more field-based caregivers, managing the schedule for client''s shifts, and matching with appropriate staff in a 24/7 work environment. Must have experience working with seniors, using automated scheduling systems, and communicating / updating plans of care. The care coordinator / scheduler, will have a strong work ethic, take charge, be resourceful, and communicate effectively to ensure the caregivers and clients are set up for success. Job Duties Create and maintain client/caregiver schedules. Schedule client visits according to care plans and staff availability. Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients Maintain staff and client database - document client/caregiver care notes real time. Identify and address scheduling issues (i.e. call offs, no shows etc.) Document important client and caregiver events in software (accidents, emergencies, dereliction of duties, hospitalizations, change in client condition, etc.) Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously Audit and approve Caregiver Time Cards (on software) Keep management updated on important issues regarding clients and caregivers Manage the "On Call", after hours phone on a rotating basis Run reports; hours scheduled, missed visits, caregiver/client concerns, recommend caregiver of the monthWork well with team members
