Maintenance Technician - Night Shift FULL-TIME $22.43/hr, plus $2000 new hire bonus, see details below Starting Pay: $23.56 minimum pay for entry level technician. Multiple levels of pay available depending upon skills and experience. This position is responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-pace Fox Valley Container plant that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state of the art for the corrugated industry. Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics. Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems. Will be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas. ORD-04 WS-04 Schedule Shift start: 3:00PM or 11:00PM Shift length: 8 - 12 hours Currently hiring for 3rd shift, Monday through Friday with additional weekend overtime. We anticipate moving to a 24/7 schedule later in 2022 which will require a rotating 12 hour schedule - 3 days on/3 days off, followed by 2 days on/2 days off Benefits Health, dental insurance - available after 60 days Paid time off 401(k) plan Qualifications Must pass drug screen Must pass background check Can lift 50 lbs Must be at least 18+ years old Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical, and electronics technologies. At least one year of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility. Able to work with computer systems for maintenance processes, stores, and work orders.
