We are seeking experienced engineers and research scientists, with a strong record of innovation in the design, development, and deployment of advanced algorithms within embedded systems, to join our team at our site in Orlando, Florida. Opportunities exist to join or lead small multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and algorithm developers through the full lifecycle of product development (internal research and development, business capture, mission analysis, design reviews, developmental field testing, performance assessments, and algorithm deployment). You should be a self-starter who is comfortable multi-tasking across a number of programmatic and technical responsibilities and work well in a collegial team environment among subject matter experts coming from a variety of academic backgrounds. Newcomers to the defense industry coming from academia as well as experienced candidates have historically integrated well with our team, so both are encouraged to apply. All candidates must at least be eligible for a SECRET level security clearance or have an active clearance of SECRET or higher. Algorithm research and development focus areas include but are not limited to: inertial and GPS-aided navigation, Kalman filtering, object tracking, object classification, machine learning, data science, and physics-based modeling and simulation. Basic Qualifications:• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or similar.
