Retail Team Lead

Company DescriptionPosition Overview:The Retail Team Lead will partner with the Store Management Team and assist in the execution of plans and strategies for their store location. They will support all store functions including: people management & engagement, customer experience and operational efficiency while ensuring excellence in all areas and maintaining Canada Goose''s expectations of quality and authenticity at our Aspen location! With extensive people management skills and a flare for world class customer service, you will continuously strive to exceed our customers'' expectations.What you will do in this role:Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom line resultsSupport in training on standard operating procedures, while ensuring team members have a proper understanding of product and brand historyCoach and mentor team members to improve performance and develop key selling and operational skills that enhance customer experienceIdentify external talent for Canada Goose''s retail business and support in onboarding new team membersDrive Employee Engagement through performance recognition and developmentDrive our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metrics such as conversion, average dollar per transaction, units per transaction etc.Resolve customer issues and NPS detractors in a timely manner by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports and coaching staff on managing similar challenges in the futureComply with store operating procedures to minimize store shrinkAssist with payroll and schedulingPerform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standardsRegularly review company''s email and other communication tools to ensure applicable messages are shared with the teamProvide market expertise in relation to client needs and develop strategies to maximize product performanceWhat we are looking for from you:Minimum 3 years of retail management experienceProven experience working in high volume traffic locations with affluent and luxury brandsBasic knowledge of inventory, scheduling and payroll managementStrong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail math and metricsHigh attention to detailStrategically agile in order to drive strong sales resultsAbility to stand for long periods of time and flexible to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidaysStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentConsistently exhibits Canada Goose''s Values, taking pride in being innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, and entrepreneurialAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and ExcelBonus points for proficiency in another languageSalary Range:$25-28 / hour USDAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
