We are looking for a Senior Manager, Executive Communications who will build and perform strategic communications plans to drive operational excellence at Salesforce. You''ll report to our Director of CIO Communications and join a world-class Global Communications team of thought-leaders and innovators.This is a highly-visible role leading communication strategy for the Enterprise Strategy and Operational Excellence (ESOE) team. In this role, you will build an engagement strategy to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and encourage our employees, while also developing the executive narrative for this critical work. We''re looking for a strategic communicator to embody the concept that clarity is a gift as you simplify the complex through impactful storytelling around operational excellence and business transformation.Some of the things youll be doing includeSupport development of mission, vision, and narrative for ESOEWork with Head of Strategy and Operations to define internal engagement strategy; develop and complete communications on behalf of EVP, ESOE in support of that strategyBuild and implement internal communications plan, including content calendar and recommended channelsEncourage employees with storytelling through various channels (Slack, blogs, email, video, Google Slides, meetings, events, etc.)Develop and execute Slack strategy for ESOE, including channels, Workflows, governance, and regular communicationDevelop an executive messaging framework based on professional brand of the EVP, ESOE and execute communications internally for ESOE leadership, including executive presentations such as Audit Committee and BoD presentations, preparation of talking points and communications as neededManage the narrative, content, and production of key digital and in-person internal events (Slack AMAs, video and in-person All Hands Calls) for the EVP, ESOEWork with external partners, PR, and other collaborators as needed to prepare ESOE leadership for external speaking engagements and customer meetings, including all talking points, materials, and tracking of engagementsDrive alignment with cross-functional teams through regular program updatesDevelops strong internal relationships to provide service and support on communications, media relations, stakeholder requests, and program prioritiesAssist with event executionWho you are ...8+ years of experience in executive communications, finance communications, technology communications, or a related field, and experience working in a high-tech and/or global organization.Synthesis and accurate dissemination of information from a variety of sources in a large-scale, ever-changing environment.Adept at communicating technology content given the complex nature of our product and selling motionFamiliarity and comfort with financial concepts and information technologyEngaging writing and storytelling about complex concepts, a compelling narrative, and an emotional connection.Excellent proofreading and editing.Clear verbal communications and trust-based relationships to create compelling messaging and narratives, leveraging data and facts.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and write quickly.Willingness to take on projects big and small.A commitment to Salesforce values and building an inclusive culture.Top-notch interpersonal skills.Impeccable project management.Excellent multi-tasking skills, ability to set own priorities, and work under deadline pressure.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Experience with Salesforce products is a plusExperience with enterprise-wide business transformation is a plusLI-KK1For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $128,000.
