Your ultimate goal as a Member Service Representative is to deliver a positive experience that solves members'' challenges in one call. You will work Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with flexibility to work from home up to a few days a week.Based in Ramsey, Connexus Energy is Minnesota''s largest electric distribution cooperative, providing electricity, renewable energy alternatives and related services to 141,000+ residential and commercial members just north of the Twin Cities. Examples include: Ability to understand and relay member account informationNegotiate payment arrangements, and answer billing inquiresAbility to troubleshoot energy usage and high bill concernsAnswer member questions regarding Connexus Energy products and services such as Conservation and Efficiency Programs; and promoting & introducing members to current incentives for participationCollect delinquent accounts in a timely and professional mannerAssist with taking outage calls as needed including working extra hours occasionally during a storm eventFacilitate technical requests for service by providing information and assistance to members Communicate and work effectively with other departments and the community to meet member needsAbility to use multiple forms of communication including phone, email, instant message and in-person Required Talents, Skills, Expertise, Education:2-3 years'' experience in a customer service roleHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong communication skills (listening, verbalizing and writing)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and a customer information system; ability to use and toggle between multiple screens and systemsComfortable with technology to assist members with their on-line experienceSolid work ethicAbility to be flexible and adapt to changeAbility to organize and prioritize work with a focus on productivity and resultsAbility to work with members in a respectful and calm mannerAbility to work independently and within a team environment to achieve departmental goals Preferred Talents, Skills, Expertise, Education:Experience in a high-volume, inbound call centerCollections experiencePost-secondary education Additional Data: The application review process will continue until filled.
