Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Developer - Senior Duration: 12+ Months Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite) Daily Responsibilities:Performs product design tasks of a low, moderate, or high complexity which may require research and analysisWorks independently or collectively on design tasksPerforms system design and specification developmentProgram logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging and documentationSpecific skill requirements could vary based on the type of development being performedProvides analysis of problems and recommends solutionsPrepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts in compliance with secure coding standardsMay lead discussions with the business and with business analystWill work in conjunction with other developersWorks within established procedures and tools to develop, test, and validate security features and code reviewImplement and maintain application software while following best practice application security throughout the code life-cycle Requirements. Technical Skills Required:2+ years'' experience with Functional & Object-Oriented Programming and Design3+ years'' experience of JavaExperience with concurrency & multi-threading.Experience with Spring Boot, REST principles and methodsExperience with Oracle DBA, SQL helpful2+ years'' experience with Waterfall, Agile, Test Driven Development or related lifecycle methodologies requiredKnowledge of In Memory Data Grids (IMDG), specifically Coherence, extremely desiredAbility to interpret business requirementsExperience with Unix/Linux, MacExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFull knowledge of common software design patternsFinancial services experience nice to havePositive attitude and a willingness to learn Preferred Skills:Experience with real-time, high-volume transaction systems preferredExperience using Git, Gitflow, Bitbucket and Jira preferredExperience with TDD, BDD, JUnit and other testing libraries preferredExperience with Jenkins and Continuous Integration/Deployment preferredNOTE: This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements, or working conditions.
