Summary: Our award-winning client is looking for a skilled, levelheaded, and experienced Associate Vice President of Operations to recruit, maintain, develop and manage the Operations Team, Accounts Team, and Projects Team of the company. This position will report directly to the COO & Executive Director of Operations.Responsibilities:Recruit, Develop & Manage Project Managers (build a Project Management Team).Coordinate & assign Project Managers to jobs.Oversee & Handle Company''s Executive Accounts directly.Oversee Operations with the EDO.Manage & Handle immediate issues / ''fires'' that pop up during day-to-day Operations.Onboard, Coordinate, Set Up & Oversee all Company''s Projects & Account work to ensure a stress-free & exceptional experience.Work with Account Management Team, Project Management Team, Operations Team, Sales Team, and Client Team to streamline & communicate effectively for a successful project.Responsible for writing up/warning (managing team members and disciplinary actions).Cost analysis & closing accounts with Sales Team following project completion.Manage house accounts when necessary, which includes quoting & invoicing.Solicit new business where possible (cross & upsell existing accounts with Sales Team).Support Senior Management with estimating, bidding, and tallying projects when necessary.Overall assistance in recruiting efforts with Senior Management for any open roles.Facilitate on-site client meetings.Attend project sites from time to time to facilitate training sessions & ensure quality control.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Complete, Maintain & Develop Project Management Process / ManualComplete, Maintain & Develop Customer On/Offboard Experience Process / ManualComplete, Maintain & Develop VP Operations Process / ManualVetted with Company Subcontractor Form Submitted & Onboarded 2 Trucking & Moving FirmsRecruit & train necessary team of Project Managers to keep up with work-flow (able to say ''Yes'' to any job within 48-hours'' notice), 2 Projects Managers Q3 2022Create daily Project Manager Report Sheets for Move ProjectsCreate & Implement Cost Analysis / Job Completion Project Manager Report for Move ProjectsGenerating Revenue, minimum 30% Gross Margin: draft pipeline & attend sales meetingsMaintain the following profit for every move job (this is attained by closely monitoring each job, ensuring our labor &/or contractor is on budget, ensuring that we beat our internal costs or sub-contractor down to save company overall costs where materials or labor were under budget, etc.)Jobs marked up by salesperson 10 to 15% gross margin, invoice within 2.5% of that desired margin (+/-)Jobs marked up by salesperson 15% to 35% gross margin, invoice within 4% of that desired margin (+/-)Jobs marked up by salesperson 35%+ gross margin, invoice within 5% of that desired margin(+/-)Positive remark (via email acknowledgement or GOOGLE review) from client after each move project exceeding $3,000.00''Oops'' Budget of $3,500.00Required Qualifications:5+ years of Operations or Facilities experienceMoving or Furniture Industry experience requiredDetail-oriented, being able to effectively take notes and communicate clearly with all partiesProactive, the ability to look ahead & preventing problems before they occurAbility to deescalate situations where necessaryAdaptable & Amenable
