We are an energetic and entrepreneurial team passionate about stewardship, driven to innovate and embrace a culture of freedom that inspires care of customers and each other.Job DescriptionA Service Technician is responsible for completing the following tasks:Service, calibrate, commission, troubleshoot and repair a variety of meters, pumps, registers, and other petroleum equipmentTroubleshoot, rebuild and calibrate meters and related itemsMaintain required performance and maintenance recordsMaintain accurate DOT Logs / PaperworkAttend training sessions at customer and vendor locationsStart up and service tanker truck terminal load rack equipment, ethanol skids, and other petroleum equipmentInstall and repair grounding and overfill prevention systemsWarranty work, annual inspections, and emergency service workEquipment testing to check operation90% overnight weekday travelOther duties as assignedQualificationsHS Graduate or equivalent; Tech/trade school training is a plusOutstanding driving record with respect to observing driving regulations and federal/state/local motor vehicle lawsRequired to have a valid State Driver''s License with the ability to obtain a commercial driver''s license with hazmat endorsement upon hireMinimum 3 years mechanical repair, troubleshooting, analytical aptitudeMust be able to read blue prints and schematicsBasic understanding of hydraulic principlesExpectations of EmployeesMust be able to work independentlyAbility to obtain appropriate weights and measures permitsPerform all work in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and proceduresAbility to work safely with flammable liquids; occasional hazardous material handlingAbility to work outdoors in all seasonsTraits of Successful EmployeesSolid electronics background and computer knowledge preferredOutstanding interpersonal relationship skill sets as well as solid customer service focusAbility to complete tasks according to planned scheduleWillingness to help out where neededEmployee BenefitsWeekly paycheckBoot reimbursements up to $125Medical insurance - company covers 75% of premiumsDental and vision insurancePaid vacationCompany paid life insurance401K retirement account with 5% company matchOn the spot bonuses up to $100Learn more about Westmor IndustriesLocation:14044 W Freeway Dr. Hugo, MN 55038Westmor Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
