Our mid-size manufacturing client, one of the top 5 leaders in their industry nationwide has engaged us to fill a newly created role open due to growth both organically and through potential acquisition strategy. In this role working to the right hand of the CFO who takes care of Cost Accounting for the product manufacturer the function is based on analytics and accounting. SUPER Flexible schedule with hours that work best and if needed 1-2 days hybrid weekly after training. This Accounting Manager will not work much overtime. Duties include Financial Statement prep and reconciliations as well as analysis. This Department consists of the Controller and CFO plus the 3-4 accounting and transactional staff. The role has high visibility, a very good mentor and full benefits. Doing more than generating reports, find the why, how and what''s happened this month compared to that month Analytics for the plant forecasting, budgeting Account reconciliations, month-end, and the Financial statement preparation with on their CMS system• Actual vs Budgeted Sales Reporting• Monthly Journal Entries and Sales Analysis• Margin Reporting, Intercompany transactions entries• Inventory Excess and Obsolete Reporting• Physical Inventory Functions• Cycle Count Analysis• Reporting on Cost Reduction Objectives• Assist with Commission Reporting• Audit Assistance
