Essential Functions: Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift/reach truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatusPositions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxed products, or materials and transports load to designated areaUnloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting deviceInventories materials/supplies on work floor, and supply workers with materials as neededLoads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting deviceRetrieve stock from inventory and prepare for shipment in accordance to customer/vendor requirements and distribution processes and proceduresComplete out of stock orders when requiredOperates material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist cartons from picking area to the dockUtilizes voice-directed and/or RF hand held unit to ''pick'' and finalize customer order on-line Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredRelated warehouse experience is highly preferred.Must be able to work overtime as needed.Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:Support and contribute to the overall goals of the Operations Department.Takes initiative and works well independently.Able to meet goals under tight time constraints.Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers and management.Follow safe working practices, as instructed.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
