Position: Mid-Level Combat System Engineer, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Status: Contingent, target start date is October 2021 International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual to provide baseline management support for the AEGIS Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Combat System Engineering team managed by Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 4.0) in the Washington, DC area. Applicant must have a Bachelor''s Degree in an Engineering, Math or Science Discipline; at least three to eight (3-8) years of professional experience in engineering projects with some supervisory experience preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; strong communication skills (oral and written); and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Required experience includes:• Executing systems engineering processes for Department of Defense (DoD) system development, testing, or delivery;• Assessing and developing recommendations for proposed system improvements, design updates, or maintenance activities;• Understanding and interpreting system requirements, developing Plans of Action and Milestones, and navigating technical databases.Desired experience includes:• Familiarity with processes and databases used to develop and catalog USN Combat System requirements and specifications;• Experience with System Engineering Technical Reviews;• FMS program requirements, application of export controls, and knowledge of ITAR and TTSARB.The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations. The position will be located in Washington, DC and will require travel, including international travel, approximately less than 15% of the time.
