This work will involve contributing to a technical team o f Developers and Designers following the SAFe Agile methodology to serve their PMO with application management, modernization, and support. The CACI Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced UI/UX Designer and Developer with a variety of development language skills and focus JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Agile methodology . In this role, you will harness your skills and contribution s to the team collaborating with other technical and functional SMEs , administrators and engineering team members to successfully release and update IT related projects for the customer. What You''ll Get To Do: * Contribute to the efforts of development, modernization, and enhancements on the customers IT tools * Participate in all activities around the Agile/SCRUM methodology, sprints, tools , support software configuration , process refinement , and documentation * Serve as a liaison between developers and customer on all UI/UX matters for design and development requirements * Assist the clients in overcoming their most difficult challenges and continuously broadening expertise in design methodologies and tools * Engage with customers onsite, from CACI offices, and remotely when necessary You''ll Bring These Qualifications: * BS or higher degree 7 + years'' experience in software development * 7 years of dedicated experience with various applications software development projects and someone who understands the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, Angular 9+ , JSON, and RXJS or similar tools * Strong UI/UX understanding and design focused approach * Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as bootstrap, angular material, USWDS or similar technology * Experience with web development using VS Code, Sublime Text, Atom, or similar technology * Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL (Sybase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and database performance tuning and optimization * Working knowledge of Git and Github , along with best practices around branching strategies, versioning techniques and other DevOps practices * Creating and maintaining technical documentation which may include Swagger for APIs, Microservices, JavaDoc for Java code, developer guides, and coding standards * Ability to be independent, creative and challenged and work with other knowledgeable and like-minded SMEs Desired Qualifications: * Experience in Agile environment and working knowledge of utilities and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools * Experience working with technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, and similar tools * Experience with Drupal 8+, Java, PHP, and various AWS services or similar tools * Knowledge and implementation of 508 compliance in design * Experience with open source back end technologies Node.js and NoSQL Database * Knowledge of Information Assurance compliance to specified standards NIST Standards for Cyber Security, Security Threat Prevention, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) process * Any IA/ Security certification is a plus (Security+) What We Can Offer You: - We''ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post. - Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. - We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities. - We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation''s highest priorities. - For over 55 years, the principles of CACI''s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.
