Job Description

BRIDGE Housing strengthens communities by developing, owning and managing high quality affordable homes for working families and seniors. We are looking for an experienced Resident Manager to oversee operations at one of our properties. As an effective Resident Manager, you have strong leadership skills, an understanding of low-income populations, and experience working with residents in supportive housing. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the property including physical maintenance, administrative tasks, maintaining positive resident relations and adhering to all applicable rules and regulations. This position comes with a 2 bedroom apartment. The Resident Manager is required to live onsite. We expect Resident Managers to maintain our high standards of professionalism and service in order to provide residents with a safe, well-managed living environment and to meet the companys goals and objectives. The Resident Manager must also ensure that property staff are responsive to the needs of residents and support high levels of resident interaction and retention.Responsibilities Advertise vacancies and interview potential residents Coordinate resident association meetings and resident activities Collect rent and serve late notices if necessary Ensure proper annual resident re-certification procedure Maintain office filing system Keep inventory of office and maintenance supplies Supervise maintenance and office staff Supervise work of contractors and vendors Conduct regular inspections of common areas Perform maintenance and janitorial tasks as needed Work with onsite team and local service organizations to provide appropriate resident services Qualifications Experience in low income/affordable housing property management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Great organizational skills and attention to detail Valid drivers license Preferred Experience in supportive housing property management HUD and tax credit experience Knowledge of property maintenance and physical upkeep requirements Bilingual Benefits Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match Twelve paid holidays + two weeks of paid vacation per year Opportunity to work towards a great mission!
