COMSEC Systems Engineer, Senior with Security Clearance

Job Number: R0144345 COMSEC Systems Engineer, SeniorKey Role: Research latest methodologies and maintain processes for sof tware defined radio ( SDR ) waveform cyber resiliency analysis. Perform cyber resiliency analysis on candidate waveforms hosted on tactical SDRs, ensuring that the security requirements of communications systems are met. Develop and review te chn ical white papers, presentations, and reports supporting cyber resiliency tasks. Maintain te chn ical relationships with external vendors and DoD organizations involved in the acquisition, development, security evaluation, and testing of tactical SDR waveforms. Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience with radio and waveform systems engineering* 3+ years of engineering experience with HAIPE device design, development, or testing* 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing DoD tactical waveforms, wireless communications networks, SDRs, RF communications, and data or network secure communications* Experience in assessing existing communications system resiliency vulnerabilities and determining mitigating strategies* Knowledge of systems engineering processes and best practices* Secret clearance* Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering Additional Qualifications: * Experience with DoD Radio TRANSEC te chn iques and te chn ologies* Experience with DoD Electronic Warfare defensive te chn ologies and te chn iques* Experience with DoD te chn ology protection policies and procedures, including supply chain risk management ( SCRM ) * Experience in supporting a DoD Program Management Office ( PMO ) * Top Secret or TS / SCI clearance a plus* Master''s degree* Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act ( DAWIA ) Certification in Program Management or System Engineering* DoD Directive 8570 Certification, including Security+ and CISSP Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
