Job Description SummaryAs a Project Manager on the Lynn Assembly and Test (LATO) development team you''ll focus primarily on the execution of action plans that result from lean events. In this role you''ll interface across the Lynn site with engineering, facilities, finance, plant services, the operation teams, and logistics regarding project execution matters. The role has autonomy but is focused on ensuring key milestones are met and ensuring LATO is at the appropriate readiness state to support customer delivery.Job Description* Lead cross-functional Project Teams and be fully responsible for schedule, expenses, investment, and execution* Be the single point of contact for the customer (internal and/or external) on all project matters and represent LATO for the execution of all action plans.* Represent the customer (internally) for project specific issues.* Ensure safe, compliant and successful execution of all project obligation.* Coordinate and perform administrative activities as per relevant PM processes, including developing of project budgets, track operation activities, manage equipment deliveries, indirect purchases, project schedules, requisitions, documentation requirements etc.* Participate in process & quality improvement and business initiatives and provide feedback on lessons learned to other departments.* To coordinate, plan and communicate of all work activities with the external and internal resources* Manage day-to-day project activitiesRequired Qualifications* Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or construction management experience.* Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or construction management experienceDesired Characteristics* Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn* Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively* Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed* Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative* Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
