Job DescriptionAnew Era TMS & Psychiatry of Texas is a psychiatric services and Transcranial Magnetic treatment provider organization. Our mission is to deliver world-class care to patients with primary MDD and anxiety disorders and other mental health conditions. The company is well-positioned for continued growth due to recent coverage approval for TMS by most major insurance companies. We will provide certified training for facilitation and medical necessity for TMS.This exciting position requires a Licensed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to perform patient evaluations for medication and ongoing medication management.Responsibilities:Evaluate scheduled patient consistent with prevailing practice standards. This includes collection of psychiatric history, relevant medical history, social and family history, mental status exam, diagnosis, and devising a treatment recommendationEstablish rapport with patient and relevant members of their social system to assist them in understanding and accepting treatment recommendations within a shared decision making modelTo prescribe and implement treatment consistent with diagnosis and relevant standards, including the prescription of medications consistent with the ARNP''s scope of practiceComplete records accurately and in a timely fashion. Generally, this means the same day of the service provided, but no later 48 hours after seenCode services consistent with ethical and legal billing standardsStrive to seek 80% productivity based upon CPT code time elements.
