It also expands Anderson Dahlen''s resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:Performs a full range of cleaning of the metal surfaces utilizing an array of chemicals to remove imperfections and impurities on manufactured parts and assemblies in accordance with prescribed specifications. Utilization of tools to wash and clean the products or remove colors from welds. Requirements: MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTAIBLITY:Prepare passivation solutions in designated mixing containers.Pre-clean surfaces to be passivated by ensuring grease, oil, paint, soil, grit, and any other apparent contamination is removed. Spray down all surfaces with passivation solutions.Rinse treated surfaces with clean tap water, and then wipe down completely with clean, soft cloth to prevent water drops from drying on passivated surfaces.Clean-up work area. Wash area thoroughly with tap water and wipe clean. Maintain and clean all personal protective items and store for future usage.Other duties as assigned.QUALITIFCATIONS FOR ENTRY:High School Diploma/GED + 0-6 months in manufacturing industry, preferred. A high level of attention to detail is a must as aesthetic appearance is critical. Must have good dexterity and hand eye coordination. Must be comfortable bending, squatting, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling.Good verbal and written communication Must be reliable and punctual.Vision with full spectrum of color Basic computer knowledgePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
