It also expands Anderson Dahlen''s resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for planning, setting-up and performing a wide variety of CNC machining operations, using various machine tools, jigs, and fixtures in production of a wide variety of product parts as well as tooling items.MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:• Proficient in the operation, set-up and editing of programs on the CNC Lathes.• Manually program and edit G&M coded programs (On machine controller or from a desk top computer)• Operate manual machining centers when required.• Operate machine shop hand equipment.• Use various measuring equipment (Micrometer, Caliper, CMM, etc.)• Proficient in reading, understanding, and machining from CAD drawings.• Measure and inspect parts as needed or required.• Preform and document process inspection.• Other duties as assigned. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:1-2 years of machining experience is preferred, but not required.Experience with DMG MoriSeiki and 4-Axis CNC Turning CentersExperience machining on Stainless Steel is preferred, but not required.Must be able to read blueprints.Manage time efficiently.Experience in Fanuc controls and live tooling is puter literate in MasterCam is preferred, but not required.Ability to work independently.Must be US person or PRC holder due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
