We proactively build trusted relationships with our peers, partners and customers, and take ownership for our actions-always striving to do the right thing.Kratos offers medical, dental, vision, life, short and long term disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more.GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:Develop, design, and test integrated microwave assemblies and subassemblies using MIC and PCB technologies.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Design microwave assemblies consisting of microwave integrated circuit, printed circuit board, and hybrid technologies.* Work with multifunctional teams to develop integrated microwave assemblies from concept to production based on customer requirements.* Support customer required and in house design reviews.* Support integration and test of assemblies.* Understand microwave circuit and EM concepts and be able to implement them.* Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise.* Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.LI-TC1KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:* Security Clearance or the ability to obtain security clearance.* Familiarity with low noise, high power amplifier and microwave sub-assembly design (mixer, switch, filer, coupler, detector, etc.) is required.* Ability to design and layout microwave circuits in using chip and wire, PCB, and a combination of both technologies.* Experience with Microwave CAD tools including circuit design and 3D EM simulation programs.* Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.* Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.* Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.* Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.* Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.* Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.* Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor''s degree; or minimum of 6 years and a Master''s degree.WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* Office and/or lab environment.* Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.* Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes, if applicable.LI-BI1Kratos
