Senior Instructional Designer

Lead a team in designing technology-delivered courseware focused on teaching highly technical content for the military training environment.Implement and conduct continuous operational evaluations for simulation/virtual and hardware trainer based Maintenance Training System courses. The Supplier''s ISDS shall perform operational evaluations using AFH 36-2235, Volume 3, Chapter 9, Section C as a guide.Develops performance measurement methodologies to assess student and course performance in meeting the operational goals of the Air Force. This includes the development of trend analysis and summary reports representing student and instructor effectivenessProvides oversight for analyses to ensure identification and validation of training requirements, documents result of analyses by developing Training Assessment reports, and ensures recommended alternative training strategies are feasible for presentation to decision-makers.Reviews documentation of design strategy documents to ensure courseware development is aligned to customer requirements and Statement of Work (SOW).Develops training planning data to include: the training considerations that form the basis for functional characteristics of the instructional delivery system; and functional characteristics requirements.Represent the company with customers as the subject matter expert of instructional documents as they are demonstrated, reviewed, or tested.Required Education* BA/BS in Education, Industrial Psychology, or Instructional Systems DesignMinimum years of experience* With a BA/BS our ideal candidate will need at least 12 years of experience* With a MA/MS our ideal candidate will need at least 7 years of experienceRequired Skills* Experience researching technical material and working flexibly with subject matter experts.* Excellent writing, communication, analytical and instructional design skills.* Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.* Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Strong oral and written communication skillsPreferred Siills* Air Force experience-technical and operational experience with USAF fixed-wing tanker or cargo aircraft
