ServiceNow Developer

Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer in support of the Program Executive Office Aviation (PEO AVN) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract at Redstone Arsenal.Primary responsibilities will be to provide application development of ServiceNow GovCloud and On-Premise platforms. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to development, configuration, administration, installation, troubleshooting, monitoring, integration, optimization, documentation, and problem resolution. Candidates should be able to implement, maintain and perform upgrades/migrations as required of ServiceNow platforms hosted both on-premise and in cloud environments.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:PRIMARY -* Installations, configurations, administration, and migrations of ServiceNow (cloud and on-premise)* Day to day operational activities related to the ServiceNow development and administration.* Application of support packages and installation of related add-on software components.* Working under a change management process in ServiceNow.SECONDARY -* Experience with other workflow tools (SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft CRM, etc)JOB SKILLS:Required -* Energetic team player* Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.* General understanding of broad range of IT concepts.* Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks.Preferred -* Experience working in a DoD related environment* Prior experience with ServiceNow UI Development* Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc)* JavaScriptEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* 4+ years directly applicable experience* CompTIA Security+ certification required prior to start* BA/BS in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific/technical discipline preferred* Computing Environment certification preferred* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceWORK ENVIRONMENT* Note*: This position is temporarily a remote/ virtual / work from home position due to COVID-19, but will ultimately be required to be on-site in Huntsville, AL with a possibility of semi-remote work once restrictions are lifted for this locationLI-AC1
