About the Position:At Laskowski Ace, Cashiers represent the front line in making the customer''s shopping experience a pleasant one. The Cashier is accountable for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Cashiers play a fundamental role in achieving customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Responsibilities include:Engaging customers in every way; greet customers as soon as they are encounteredPerform all steps in the checkout process including: scanning and bagging items at a rate that meets store requirements and processing accepted forms of paymentReconcile cash drawer dailyHandle customer complaints with integrity and poise, and, when necessary, refer dissatisfied guests to the appropriate individuals for resolutionMaintains high ethical standards in all actionsAssist customers in the store as well as on the phoneMaintain awareness of promotions/advertisements in order to inform customers about special salesRequiredPreferredJob IndustriesRetail
