AvMC is the Army''s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the life cycle. Responsibilities: * Provide leadership, strategy, and management of technical services to support the AvMC Enterprise and its evolving mission needs * Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant, state-of-the-art hardware, software, and solution sets in order to provide innovative solutions and recommendations * Assess and recommend leading edge technologies and develop the transitional plans and processes for implementation in order to maximize available resources, enable data sharing, and provide communications capabilities to the AvMC workforce * Participate in the planning, execution, and analysis for current and emerging information technology requirements as part of an integrated innovation management function * Perform the actions required to create new ideas, processes, automation, or products which, when implemented, lead to positive effective change across the AvMC * Perform the research needed to support IT requirements and future forecasting in the area of technology, process development, and other CIO/G6 management areas * Assist with mission network planning and policies * Develop technical methodologies to ensure the interoperability of networks and systems to support enterprise technology solutions and support worldwide mission users * Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure continuity of operations and reinforce network security policies for AvMC information systems * Support technology management events including planning meetings/conferences, site surveys, requirements reviews, system setup/integration/troubleshooting/checkout meetings, system operation audits, and post-test reviews/analysis meetings Requirements: * MS/MA in related field * 15 years of related work experience * DoD 8570 Level II/III certification * DoD Secret clearance IPT Associates, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
